CEDAR RAPIDS — The Cedar Rapids Police Department is investigating credit card skimming devices that were discovered this week on the registers at two Family Dollar locations, according to a news release from the department.
The skimmers were removed Tuesday from registers in the stores at the 901 First Ave. SW and 1531 32nd St. NE Family Dollar locations. Police said they don’t know yet what information, or how much information, was captured by the devices.
