A Pueblo man pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree murder in the shooting of a 13-year-old , according to court documents.

Romello Hernandez, 18, pleaded guilty on Dec. 2 to criminal attempt to commit second-degree murder, a class-three felony "extraordinary risk" crime with a crime of violence sentencing stipulation attached.

In exchange for Hernandez's plea of guilty to second-degree murder, all other charges, including attempted first-degree murder, were dropped by 10th Judicial District Attorney Kala Beauvais.
