An NHS GP claims "fit to do things" letters may soon be a thing of the past after it was reported that a student broke her neck after being given the all-clear by her doctor to take part in a skydiving exercise. Now, Dr Tim Mercer has advised how the incident is likely to have a lasting impact after paralysed Miriam Barker revealed she is seeking £15 million in compensation.
