People in one Lawrence County community say bullets from a nearby gun range are striking their houses, and they're headed to court Thursday to ask a judge to shut it down.
Thursday’s hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at the Lawrence County courthouse.
Several people with properties near Inner Circle Shooting Range on Highway 157 in Danville filed a lawsuit Monday, claiming the business has failed to put barriers in place to stop bullets.
In the lawsuit, they say sometimes they hear bullets whizzing by them when they're outside.
The lawsuit claims a projectile was recovered from one of the residential properties nearby and has been preserved as evidence. Multiple other impacts to residences have allegedly been documented as well.
