Costco has voluntarily recalled two salad products over possible contamination with plastic material, affecting consumers in 34 states, and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has now issued a Class II risk warning.
What To Know
Costco issued a recall on November 7 for select lots of its Caesar Salad and Chicken Sandwich With Caesar Salad items, after discovering "the possible presence of plastic foreign material in the salad dressing" contained in both products, according to a notice the company published on its product recalls page.
The plastic material was found in a 3-ounce sealed packet of Caesar dressing included in both items.
The products were distributed and sold at Costco stores, predominantly in the Midwest, Northeast and Southeast regions. Below are the 34 U.S. states
