STOCKTON, Calif. —

The woman killed in a Stockton-area drive-by shooting has been identified as Obdulia Sanchez.

If her name is familiar, that is because she drew national attention in 2017 for livestreaming her 14-year-old sister's body after a crash where she was driving under the influence. Sanchez, who was 18 years old at the time, was on Instagram's live feature when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to overturn in a field in the Los Banos area of Merced County. She continued to record video after her sister was ejected from the vehicle and died.

The county's district attorney's office at the time said Sanchez's livestream reflected "some depravity and some stupidity" after learning of her 0.10 blood alcohol level.
