ALBANY — M&T Bank and the Palace Theatre have teamed to present a holiday movie series that invites local families to enjoy classics throughout the month of December at no cost.

The series kicks off with a presentation of “The Muppet Christmas Carol” at 7 p.m. Monday, followed by “Elf” at 7 p.m. on Dec. 15; “It’s a Wonderful Life” at 7 p.m. Dec. 19; and “A Minecraft Movie” at 1 p.m. Dec. 28.
