Each year, Fill the Dome reminds all of us at the Great Plains Food Bank just how powerful young people can be when they lead with compassion. This year, students from more than 50 high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools came together for the 19th annual event, gathering 100,369 pounds of food and raising $50,000 to support neighbors experiencing hunger.

What began in 2007 as a bold idea to fill the 80,000-square-foot Fargodome floor has grown into a cherished community tradition thanks to the leadership and heart of the Metro Area Student Ambassadors.
