It was always going to be a risk trying to create an entirely new story in a world like the one laid out in Fallout, but it's pretty safe to say now that the first season of Amazon's Prime Video show did an immensely impressive job.
The new storylines made total sense within the wider lore, which they absolutely had to do given the show's position as canon within the universe, and it left us wanting to see what comes next for Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) and everyone else.
One of the show's greatest strengths is the cast of characters it has introduced, from the aforementioned Lucy and her father Hank (Kyle MacLachlan) to Walton Goggins' turn as the ever frightening but surprisingly emotional deep combo of Cooper Howard and The Ghoul.
