OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Saturday is now a First Alert 6 Weather Day for the potential for accumulating snow.

A quick-moving system will sweep into the area starting Saturday afternoon through the evening, bringing chances for snow along with it.

The highest chance of picking up more than an inch of snow will be north of the metro.

However, the cutoff for amounts will be sharp and the metro is near the edge of this system; any small shift in the track would lead to higher impacts.

As of now, expect a coating of snow in the metro with slick travel possible after noon through the evening.
