LSU football legend Joe Burrow was recently asked about the Tigers hiring Lane Kiffin as the new head coach, and his response went viral.
During a recent media availability, the 2019 Heisman Trophy winner and national champion took a beat to think of his response to the move from his former school.
“Um,” Burrow said. “I think he’s a good coach.”
The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback then shrugged.
“I guess we’ll see how it goes,” he said. “Those are my thoughts.”
Burrow then shrugged at the reporter who asked him the question.
In a follow-up question, Burrow was asked whether Kiffin ever recruited him, and the quarterback said he had not.
Then, he was asked if he could imagine preparing for the College Football Playoff after his coach left.
