INDIANAPOLIS — This weekend's Big Ten football championship game is a beautiful cream and crimson, scarlet and grey economic flood for tourism in Indianapolis.
As Indiana and Ohio State take the field at Lucas Oil Stadium, not only will the hotels downtown and in suburban counties be filled but bars and restaurants are being given guidance on the waves of incoming traffic they will see as the city is "bracing for an abnormal amount of fans," Chris Gahl, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Visit Indy, said.
