EXCLUSIVE : Saban Films has appointed former Tubi and IFC Films exec Sarah Corrigan as Senior Director of Distribution with a mandate to help drive the company’s expansion into direct distribution and strategic growth.

Corrigan joins from AVOD firm Tubi, where she led independent film licensing and original film acquisitions. During her tenure, she brokered content deals with companies including A24, Neon, Saban, WME, and CJ Entertainment.

In her new role, Corrigan will “build and oversee Saban Films’ direct distribution strategy, including partnerships and analytics. She will also spearhead the company’s expansion into direct transactional distribution and will contribute to acquisitions strategy and greenlight decisions”. Her appointment is effective immediately.
