We, the Pokanoket Tribe, are pleased to share this update with Bristol residents regarding the acquisition of Potumtuk (formerly known as the Mount Hope property owned by Brown University). We extend our sincere appreciation to residents for their patience and support during this first year of being back on the land and we thank everyone for their understanding as we work through the necessary planning steps needed to move forward in a good way.

First and foremost, to state for the record, there will be no casino.
