Wrexham's Hollywood co-owners have been thrust into the spotlight following renewed questions over £18million of public money being used to construct a new stand at the Racecourse Ground. It first emerged in spring 2023 that Wrexham Council had approved the reallocation of a substantial chunk of a £25m Welsh Government grant to help finance the new Kop stand .

The development, a crucial element of the broader Wrexham Gateway regeneration project, will deliver a structure accommodating up to 7,750 seats and boost the Championship side's stadium capacity to approximately 18,000.
