ROSWELL, Ga. — Roswell will have a new mayor.
Incumbent mayor Kurt Wilson called opponent Mary Robichaux on Tuesday night to concede, 11Alive's Marissa Sarbak reports. Robichaux, the projected winner, had a little more than 58% of the vote at the time of the concession. Robichaux gave a victory speech to her supporters at a watch party in Roswell following the concession.
Robichaux, a former state representative who has lived in Roswell for 32 years, told 11Alive that her experience in health care and her ties to the community will ensure she listens to the people she believes are calling for change.
