Not impressed with a move by the province to consolidate Quinte Conservation authority into a newly amalgamated regime of regional authorities?
Quinte Conservation is asking residents to let their views be known on the Environmental Registry of Ontario before the consultation window closes December 22 .

The authority is encouraging the public to comment on legislation that is consolidating 36 conservation authorities in the province into seven regional conservation authorities (RCAs).
The merger under Bill 68, “Plan to Protect Ontario Act,” will see Quinte Conservation and six other authorities absorbed into a newly created Eastern Lake Ontario Regional Conservation Authority as one of the seven new entities, as first reported by The Intelligencer.
