Authorities in Pennsylvania are investigating a deer-poaching incident that involved ATVs and the use of spotlights at an elementary school in Northampton County.
The illegal hunting activity, which resulted in the killing of at least one white-tailed deer, occurred at Williams Township Elementary School on Nov. 30 at about 3 a.m.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission stated in a news release that it has footage showing individuals on two ATVs shooting at deer on school property. But positive identification could not be made from the video.
“This incident not only occurred within safety zones of the Williams Township Elementary School, but also numerous private residences,” the Pennsylvania Game Commission added.
