A man has been arrested after a body was found at a home in Inverness. Emergency services raced to Strathspey Place, off Inshes Road in the city, after the alarm was raised at around 8.30am on Thursday, December 4.
Ambulance crews attended and a 32-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers from Police Scotland have since confirmed a 52-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death.
Pictures taken from the scene showed an area outside a home cordoned off on Thursday afternoon. Forensic officers in white boiler suits could be seen combing the scene.
Meanwhile, uniformed officers could be seen stationed outside the home as an investigation was launched. Detectives say extensive inquiries remain ongoing and additional patrols are being carried
