DALLAS — Former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders choreographer and "Country Ever After" star Criscilla Anderson has died after a battle with colon cancer.
Anderson's death was announced in a post on her Instagram page.
"My sweet community, If you’re reading this, I’ve finally slipped into the arms of Jesus — peacefully and surrounded by love. Please don’t stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard and I loved deeply. I am not gone… I’m Home," the post read.

The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders paid tribute to her in a post on social media, writing that her "spirit, talent, and heart she shared will never be forgotten."
"Her artistry, passion and strength inspired so many in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders family," the post read .
