Despite everything it endured during the 2025 season, LSU football will play in a bowl game.

The Tigers (7-5), who fired former coach Brian Kelly in October, clinched bowl eligibility with a 23-22 win over Arkansas in November. Since then, LSU has hired Lane Kiffin as it next head coach, away from rival Ole Miss , but interim coach Frank Wilson will coach the team in postseason play.

LSU will find out where it will play in a bowl game on Selection Sunday after the College Football Playoff bracket is revealed Dec. 7, starting at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN.
