A woman was pushed onto the tracks at North Station in Boston on Thursday, according to MBTA Transit Police.

T police said the woman was pushed from behind by an unknown male. They believe the suspect may be a homeless person who frequents the area.

The incident happened on the Green Line platform.

There was no immediate word on whether the woman suffered any injuries.

The incident remains under investigation, T police said.
