Jessi Ngatikaura is opening up about an extremely painful memory.

During the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season three reunion special, Jessi praised costar Mikayla Matthews ’ journey on the show, including seeing her work through her trauma in the most recent season after sharing she had experienced sexual abuse as a child until she was 15 years old during season two.

“I actually loved watching Mikayla's story because I knew that it happened to her,” Jessi, 33, explained during the reunion special Dec. 4, “but seeing it play out, seeing her thoughts and feelings behind it, I can relate.”
