TWO RIVERS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police say two men were arrested on kidnapping charges Saturday, Nov. 29, after allegedly transporting a teen girl missing out of Manitowoc.
Officers from Two Rivers Police Department responded to check for the missing 16-year-old on Nov. 28, after she didn't show up for work and her family had not heard from her. Police learned the girl was last seen getting into a car with a man at a friend's house in Two Rivers.
On Nov. 29, Wyoming Highway Patrol stopped the suspect vehicle on I-80 in Sinclair. Police say the 16-year-old was found in the vehicle with two men who said they were paid to pick up the teen and bring her to Utah.
Both men were taken into custody.
An investigation is ongoing.
