HOUSTON – Texans defensive tackle Tim Settle Jr. is undergoing season-ending foot surgery and will be placed on injured reserve, per a league source.

Settle, who is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent, is expected to make a full recovery before next season.

Settle got hurt against the Indianapolis Colts.

He recorded 15 tackles this season with one sack and one quarterback hit.

Last season, Settle had 31 tackles and tied a career-high with five sacks.
