WASHINGTON — Expecting Amazon deliveries soon? You could thank your driver with a $5 tip at no extra cost.

Amazon's "Thank My Driver " promotion returned for its fourth consecutive year, allowing customers to show their appreciation for their delivery drivers amidst the busy holiday season. The feature kicked off Wednesday, just days after Black Friday and Cyber Monday ended.

The promotion will be capped once 2 million thank-yous are sent. Customers can only thank the driver of their most recent delivery within 14 days of the delivery date.

According to Amazon, customers can tip $5 once per delivery.

The thank-you feature is available year-round, and drivers can see the number of times they are thanked on their Amazon delivery App or Amazon Flex App.
