LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville Metro police say a shooting in the City of Hurstbourne Acres is an officer-involved incident.

The shooting was reported around 1:55 p.m. in the 9000 block of Red Deer Circle, located off Taylorsville Road to the west of Hurstbourne Parkway.

LMPD says the scene is secure and there is no danger to the public. Theya re asking people to avoid the area because of the heavy police presence and the critical investigation.
