Marshall's football team had three players named to the All-Sun Belt Conference first team and 10 overall honors, announced on Thursday by the league office.

Thundering Herd freshman kicker Lorcan Quinn, cornerback Boogie Trotter and tight end Toby Payne were first-team All-SBC honorees.

Receiver Floyd Lacey and punter Nathan Totten were second-team selections. Jalen Slappy was a third-team pick.

Quarterback Carlos Del Rio-Wilson, defensive lineman Paul Hutson, linebacker Jayland Parker and defensive back Daytione Smith were named honorable mentions.

"I'm incredibly proud of the efforts these guys showed in earning the All-SBC honors," Marshall coach Tony Gibson said in a news release. "We had some incredible individual performances this season, and I'm happy the league recognized them
