Colorado's flags will fly at half-staff until sunset on Dec. 6 in honor of two women who died tragically in late November.

Flags will be at half-staff until sunset Dec. 4 in honor of Army National Guard Member Sarah Beckstrom, who was slain Nov. 27 in Washington, D.C.

Flags will then be at half-staff from sunrise Dec. 5 through sunset Dec. 6 in honor of state Sen. Faith Winter, who was killed in a car crash south of Denver on Nov. 26.

Beckstrom, 20, of Summersville, West Virginia, died on Thanksgiving, a day after being ambushed blocks from the White House and shot, police say, by Rahmanullah Lakanwal, a 29-year-old Afghan national.
