SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Padres have signed right-handed pitcher Ty Adcock to a one-year contract through the 2026 season, president of baseball operations and general manager A.J. Preller announced on Thursday.
Adcock, 28, spent the bulk of his 2025 campaign with Triple-A Syracuse (31 G) while making two Major League stints with the New York Mets, allowing one run across his three outings (3.0 IP). He opened the season in Syracuse with five consecutive scoreless appearances (6.0 IP), facing just two batters above the minimum (hit, walk) while striking out six batters from April 9-24. He finished the season with six consecutive scoreless outings in the month of September (6.0 IP) without allowing a run or a hit and nine strikeouts against two walks while facing just two batters above
