TAZEWELL COUNTY, Ill. – A Washington woman has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from alleged sexual encounters with a minor.

25 News reports that Robyn Polston, 43, was charged with criminal sexual assault and child pornography following an investigation into allegations involving a teenager.

The charges stem from alleged sexual encounters between Polston and the minor that occurred in 2024 and 2025.

According to investigators, several sexually explicit photos and videos were found on the cellphone accounts of both individuals. Prosecutors also allege Polston and the minor used fake names and burner phones to protect their identities.

Polston also allegedly tried to coerce the minor to help cover up the relationship.
