If you're into skiing, there's some good news coming out of Tahoe with the winter season upon us!
Kirkwood Mountain Resort said it will open for the season starting on Friday, with skiing starting at 9 a.m.
Workers said this year, the resort has recorded 44 inches of natural snow. They also said they are adding machine made snow.
Meanwhile, Northstar California Resort is expected to open on Saturday. Lifts will start turning at 9 a.m. as well.
This comes after the resort pushed back it's original opening day last month.
In total, at least four Tahoe-area resorts will be operating by Saturday afternoon.
