Brianna Aguilera, the Texas A&M student who was found dead after the Aggies’ loss to Texas, took her own life.

That is according to the Austin Police Department, which ruled Aguilera’s death a suicide this week, on the back of her body being found outside an apartment complex in the wee hours of Saturday morning.

Brianna’s mother, Stephanie Rodriguez, said she disagrees with the cops’ version of events, insisting her daughter was murdered. However, the authorities claim to have retrieved a deleted message on her phone described as a suicide note meant for specific people in her life.

Detective Robert Marshall of the APD said that the 19-year-old’s body was discovered bearing trauma from an apparent fall from a high floor, via the New York Post.
