Rennea Thompson of California dies after falling into Lake Havasu

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office has identified a California woman who drowned after falling overboard from a boat at Lake Havasu.

Deputies and Lake Havasu City Fire Department personnel responded on Dec. 1 to a call about a woman who was drowning at Lake Havasu, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Rennea Thompson, 35, was pronounced dead after Sheriff's deputies dove into 20 feet of water to rescue her, the Sheriff's Office stated.
