Misha Collins' near-death experience on the set of Supernatural has been revealed by director Richard Speight Jr., who says he " almost killed [him]. " Collins portrayed Castiel on the cast of Supernatural since season 4, where he's frequently worked alongside Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles). This has included a number of harrowing storylines he's been involved with.

ScreenRant 's Jordan Williams was in attendance at the "Road to Hell: Supernatural" panel at CCXP, where Speight Jr. revealed one episode of Supernatural he directed where Collins nearly died filming. The director explained how Collins had to crawl across the road in season 12, episode 12, "Stuck in the Middle (With You)," with Castiel almost getting hit by a car.
