ROSEMONT, Ill. (WLS) -- The owners of a chain of suburban restaurants say hackers stole tens of thousands of dollars by hacking into their accounts.

They are among the latest victims of hackers who got into food delivery accounts.

Moretti's Restaurants do a big chunk of business with food delivery companies like DoorDash. But when someone apparently hacked into the restaurant DoorDash account, they were able to steal tens of thousands of dollars of proceeds.

There was a busy lunch rush Thursday inside the dining room at Moretti's in Rosemont, but the delivery business is also very busy. Drivers were picking up orders to deliver to customers around the area who choose not to eat inside.
