Dangerous wind chills tonight

Light wintry weather Friday evening

Multiple snow chances next week

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The high pressure system currently overhead is weakening and moving east, which will allow southwesterly winds to develop this evening. Combined with snow-covered ground and clear skies, this sets up perfect conditions for radiational cooling. Viewers should expect wind chills of -5 to -15 degrees from this evening through just after midnight, with actual air temperatures dropping to the single digits or around zero. Late tonight, warm air advection and increasing clouds will push temperatures up slightly before sunrise Friday morning. Click Here for Interactive Radar
