Surprise, surprise ... Michigan-Ohio State drew another massive viewing audience over the weekend.

This year’s edition of “The Game,” won by the Buckeyes in dominating fashion, 27-9, generated 18.424 million viewers for FOX on Saturday, the network announced Thursday.

It was the most-watched regular season college football game on any network this season, FOX says, and the second most-watched regular season game in FOX history. (The 2023 Michigan-Ohio State game was first, drawing more than 19 million viewers.)

FOX said the game, which aired in its usual 12 p.m. Eastern time window, peaked at 20.535 million viewers from 2:30 to 2:45 p.m. Ohio State entered the game as the No. 1-ranked team in the country, while Michigan was 15th and still in College Football Playoff contention.
