KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - Downtown Kearney’s Christmas Walk on The Bricks will take place Thursday, bringing holiday cheer to all ages.

The festive evening invites guests to explore the district and enjoy Santa’s cottage, live reindeer, pony rides, the Bubble House, s’mores, hot cocoa, holiday shopping, refreshments and a variety of seasonal activities.

The annual tree lighting ceremony will take place at approximately 5:45 p.m. at the Museum of Nebraska Art.

Local4 will have live coverage of the event that runs from 5 to 8 p.m.

The City of Kearney announced that Central Avenue from 21st to 25th streets will be closed for the event.
