A funeral director employee has avoided jail after being caught with hundreds of indecent images, including images of child abuse, bestiality and 'sexual interference with corpses'.

Liverpool Crown Court heard today (December 4) that Gary Williams, of Warbreck Road in Newton-le-Willows, had confessed to a sexual interest in girls aged as young as five in chats on Telegram and Skype.

This led to him downloading hundreds of pictures and videos of child abuse and even images showing "sexual interference with corpses". The Liverpool Echo reported that the 45-year-old told his defence lawyer he was "disgusted with himself" and "wants to change".
