The Kerrville Police Department announced Thursday that it will release the 911 calls from the deadly Hill Country floods that occurred on July 4, 2025.
The department said the recordings will be provided in full and without redactions, to comply with multiple requests under the Freedom of Information Act.
According to a press release announcing the new information, eight media outlets submitted FOIA requests seeking the release of the calls.
Attorneys representing Graham Media Group — KPRC 2’s parent company — were among the eight FOIA submissions.
Each recording was reviewed for caller privacy and legal compliance, and the department worked closely with the Texas Attorney General’s Office throughout the process.
