JEFFERSON COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) - A Jefferson County man is facing child endangerment charges after police say a three-year-old child was found with several bruises.

Tegon Fogle faces charges of child endangerment causing bodily injury and assault causing bodily injury after the child’s mother reported suspected injuries.

Police say the mother picked up the child from Fogle’s residence on Novemver 9 between 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. that day and the child was dressed for the cold weather.

According to court documents, the mother found several bruises while bathing the child that evening. The mother contacted the child’s daycare, where staff confirmed the child showed no signs of bruising when last seen on November 6.
