HARBOR SPRINGS — There’s no backing down from a challenge this season for the Harbor Light Christian boys basketball team.

The schedule very much so reflects that attitude.

And the first challenge of the 2025-26 season got underway this week with a season-opener against Brimley, a 14-win district champion a year ago.

After a bit of a slow start, Harbor Light found its groove and took the lead in the third and never gave it back, finishing out a 50-36 victory.

The win for the Swordsmen comes ahead of a trip to Ellsworth, then back to back home matchups against Inland Lakes and Boyne City.
