DETROIT -- Amon-Ra St. Brown was running routes and going through pre-game warmups, and the Detroit Lions wide receiver is good to go on Thursday night.
St. Brown did not practice all week while dealing with an ankle sprain suffered on Thanksgiving. He exited in the first quarter and did not return in the loss to the Green Bay Packers.
But with Detroit’s playoff hopes hanging in the balance against the Dallas Cowboys, St. Brown will tough it out. The All-Pro receiver and Dan Campbell said it would be a game-time decision, with his status up in the air as of Tuesday.
It’s a big get for an offense missing tight end Sam LaPorta, not to mention his top backup in Brock Wright. St. Brown ranks sixth in the league in receptions (75), fifth in yards (884) and second in touchdown catches (nine).
