PHOENIX — Multiple police units are on the scene of an investigation in the area of 4th Street and Sunland Avenue.
Officers were first called to the area shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday.
According to Phoenix police, two women were involved in an argument that escalated to a fight.
Someone pulled a gun and fired several shots. Police said there were several children nearby when those shots were fired. A woman who had not been involved in the initial fight was hit and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
As of 9:30 p.m. Thursday, police said no charges have been submitted because of the ongoing investigation.
