TUCSON, Ariz. — Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) are in the parking lot of a restaurant on the westside of Tucson.
Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva was at one of the nearby restaurants and says she was pepper-sprayed.
Grijavla said there were around 40 agents and several vehicles.
Grijavla said she was sprayed in the face by a “very aggressive agent, pushed around by others when I literally was not being aggressive, asking for clarification, which is my right as a member of Congress."
ICE and HSI are currently at the parking lot of Taco Giro near St. Mary's Road and Grande Avenue in the Tucson area.
Dozens of protesters are gathering near the restaurant.
