A young puppy is safe and recovering after the Everett Police Department (EPD) discovered her zip-tied and abandoned in a dumpster earlier this week.

Officers were called to a building on Evergreen Way after reports of an abandoned animal. When officers searched the area, they found Binny tied up and completely sealed inside a suitcase that had been thrown in the trash, EPD announced .
