LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Matt Martinosky, whose work centered on compassion for those often overlooked, has died after a battle with cancer.
Martinosky began as CenterPointe’s street outreach worker and later became the assistant director of community response. His work led to programs that now serve as lifelines to Lincoln’s unsheltered residents.
Before his career in outreach, Martinosky wrestled with and overcame addiction. That life experience helped him connect with those who were struggling in the community.
