The Badgers had no problem sweeping Eastern Illinois (25-11, 25-6, 25-19) at the Field House to advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The visiting Panthers were limited to a hitting percentage of 0.022.
Mimi Colyer and Una Vajagic both tallied 10 kills in the match for Wisconsin, with Colyer also recording an ace. That was one of six aces the Badgers forced on the night.
Charlie Fuerbringer tallied two of those aces and excelled in her role as the set-up woman. She recorded 35 assists to go along with 8 digs. She was also a perfect 4-4 on attacks.
