SEATTLE — For the third time this year, Alki Coffee Co . in West Seattle has been targeted by burglars — one of several businesses hit early Wednesday morning in a rash of break-ins along Alki Avenue.

Security footage shows the crimes began around 3:15 a.m. at West Seattle Arcade , where a masked suspect tried to break in using what appeared to be a yellow metal bar. The attempt failed, but about 20 minutes later, the same man — now joined by another masked individual — forced their way through the front door of Alki Coffee Co.

Owner Jonathan Stebbins says the suspects didn’t get far with much.

“Something has to change,” Stebbins said. “Clearly these people have figured out that they can do this and there’s really no repercussions at this point.”
